The Frauenberatungsstelle Braunschweig is a non-profit association for the support and feminist-oriented counselling of women who have suffered physical, psychological, sexualized and/or structural violence. The aim of the association is to support and promote the physical and mental health of women. As of April 15, we are looking for a new permanent employee for 35 hours/week for counseling women affected by violence, both in the Women’s Counseling Center and in the BISS (Counseling and Intervention Center for Domestic Violence).
You bring with you:
- A degree as a state-recognized social pedagogue BA/Dipl. or similar.
- Additional therapeutic training or the willingness to acquire it
- Experience in counseling, especially with the topic of violence
- Openness in contact with different lifestyles
- Mental resilience, ability to work in a team, flexibility
